Little Caesars’ founder secretly paid Rosa Parks’ rent for years.
In August 1994 an intruder attacked and robbed Rosa Parks, 81, in her Detroit home. Mike Ilitch read that a federal judge was finding her a safer apartment, called him, and offered to pay her housing for as long as necessary. Nobody knew until 2014, when the judge showed a reporter a $2,000 Little Caesars check dated November 1, 1994.
