Ferruccio Lamborghini was already rich from building tractors before he made sports cars. The famous story says he complained about his Ferrari to Enzo Ferrari, who dismissed the tractor man’s opinion. So he decided to build his own. In 2025 the company he founded delivered a record 10,747 cars.
