Toblerone’s triangular shape has two competing origin stories.
The official one ties the peaks of the 1908 bar to the Matterhorn, with a hidden bear for Bern, Switzerland. But Theodor Tobler’s sons insisted he copied the shape from a pyramid of dancers at the Paris Folies Bergère.
