Morgan Stanley’s security chief was told to keep staff at their desks on 9/11.
In 1990 Rick Rescorla warned the Port Authority that a truck bomb could be driven into the World Trade Center’s garage, and was told to mind his own floors. In 1993 one exploded there. On 9/11 he ignored the order, and 2,687 of his people got out. He was last seen on the 10th floor, heading back up.
